This app is completely useless now. The social media part is useless, but if youre using this to get notifications for comments on YouTube then youre out of luck. Ive been able to check my comments through the YouTube app better then the google plus app. I dont even get any notifications on there anymore. I dont know what happened, but the app is completely useless now. Ive deleted it now. Waste of space, waste of time and youre better of checking comments through YouTube. Id give this zero stars if I could. I really would.

This app no longer notifies me of replies to YouTube comments and is now useless. With Google photo now & the YouTube comment notifications gone, what is this app useful for now?

I love it. I was an early adopter possibly even in beta . There are no ads as there are in Facebook. Instead I found a rich and supportive creative global community of photographers that helped me advance as an artist. Yes there have been some ups and downs as they tweek and change the algorithms. I am still a huge fan girl.

I have been on Instagram since 2012 and its growth has died. They are cutting the growth so that you have to pay them to get results. Instagram is owned by Facebook and their whole model is to charge the content creator. Google+ on the other hand charges advertisers and rewards the creator. The model is similar to YouTube. Both models work to make money, but if your a content creator google+ is a no brainer! My Joecow Lego collection has gained a following of nearly 34,000 people! ??

Google+ is good depending on the people you meet but its also bad depends on the people you meet but besides the point BE VERY WISE WITH YOUR WORDS!! (Its kind of like tumbler OOF)

tl:dr Perhaps the most convoluted, unintuitive app out of the 185 apps on my phone right now. Swipe and gestures don’t always do the same thing. It takes 3 or more clicks just to exit an album. What bizarre behaviors from an entity as big as google!! ——— It used to be good but the last few updates have had an annoying issue with image viewing. June 17, 2017 - Still a problem. Losing hope that itll ever get fixed... 1. To view an image one must first click it. Then click it AGAIN, then sometimes click it one more time. This is unacceptable. This happens again when you want to close an image. You have to back out a couple of times. Again, unacceptable. 2. At the end of an album, it doesnt just stop scrolling (as is the intelligent way to end the album). No, it keeps scrolling usually through a seemingly random album that was not the one I was viewing. Again. This is unacceptable. FIX this.

App has NEVER worked even moderately well; ZERO online & app support... why even bother, if you dont care or listen, Google(???)

I love this social media! I love talking to new people and exploring different things, if this ever would get shut down I would be depressed

Why arent my communities separate from the ones I dont have mod rights?!?!?! Or better yet! The ones I MADE?!?!

I enjoy G+ and more so than FB. I use it to not only connect with current friends, but also new people. Most debates are civil. I use circles more than collections and communities. I do wish they would bring back the "extended circles" option when posting. Another year later and I still use G+ the most. Ask my husband, the notifications are no comparison between G+ and FB, whether its my posts to others or others posts to me. The circles are great for filtering (we all have friends who only want to see certain things). Im not much into the Discover tab; its more like Pinterest to me.

This is what of the few social media that doesnt have phone notifications. To actually check if anyone replied, liked, reshared, etc. any of your posts then you have to go into the app to check. At least have the Badge App Icon so we can see the number of notifications prior to clicking on the app.

for some reason i don’t get any notifications about the comments interactions i have on youtube , not a single notification from the app but when i log in on my computer and manually go to the notifications i see what i missed , how can i fix this ?

So I noticed a biiiiig difference between Android Google plus and apple Google plus. I don’t like how it’s more like the computer version instead of the app version. It’s more difficult and I have to look for my collections and communities the hard way. It actually frustrates me. Also I have to go slower at dismissing notifications and make sure I swipe it one way or I’ll end up in the post. If you gues can improve these feature [make it similar to androids version] I can give the app a better rating. Google plus is my favorite social site.

I have used Google+ since 2015, but I have been using the Android version. And I’m just going to say that Google+ works AMAZINGLY WELL on iOS! It doesn’t glitch, it doesn’t crash or anything like that. If I were to choose between the android version and the iOS version, I’d certainly pick iOS! But, I’d like to be able to pin and unpin my posts. It seems that on iOS I am not able to do that, which I can on Android. Also I’d like to be able to view my circles and see if anyone who wasn’t notified to me, followed me, I can follow them back. Just like on android. If this request is granted, I will never ever use the android version of Google+ ever again. ??
